Rwanda is a landlocked East African country with a green, mountainous landscape. Its renowned Volcanoes National Park is home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. The park encompasses 4,507m-tall Mt. Karisimbi and 4 other forested volcanoes. In the southwest is Nyungwe National Park, with ancient montane rainforest that's a habitat for chimpanzees and other primates.


Day 1: Uganda - Rwanda.

Depart from Uganda and upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our agent safari guide and transferred north on a scenic drive through Rwandan countryside to Ruhengeri township in the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes National Park. Travel Time from the Kigali Airport 3 hrs. Dinner and overnight at Kinigi Guest House (Dinner and Breakfast)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking.

In the morning after an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters and be briefed and assigned a gorilla group. The breathtaking trek, in which you follow in the footsteps of the rare and critically endangered mountain gorilla, the largest living primate on Earth, starts in the foothills of the Virungas with eye-catching views in all directions. Upon entering the national park, the paths are littered with fresh spoor of the elusive buffalo and elephant, and trekkers will be immersed in the mysterious intimacy of the rainforest, alive with lively birds and butterflies. Trekking through the forest, the experienced trackers will soon bring you up close to one family gorilla group. During the 1 hour of interacting with the great apes, you will get to know about their daily life, and feeding pattern. After the trek , return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.. Optional activity: Iby'Iwachu cultural visit:Iby' Iwachu Cultural Village has been developed to display local and traditional lifestyles, activities and artefacts. Local communities benefit and earn directly from this community based tourism initiative to improve their socio-economic ways of living and as an incentive for conservation of the gorillas and their habitat. Meet the traditional healer, Shooting the arrows with Batwa (pygmies), Experience Sorghum & millet Grinding on the local grinding stone, Cycling a local bicycle around the village, and watch the traditional Intore dancers, all of whom have been active poachers for centuries share their amazing traditional dance, drumming, clapping while making gorilla sounds.
Day 3: Return to Kigali.

Have breakfast at the lodge and later drive back to Kigali. Have a city tour to visit the genocide memorial, the Franco Rwanda center and the craft market before you will be dropped off at your Hotel .Check in at Gloria Hotel (Breakfast)


Day 4: Rwanda Uganda.

Have Breakfast and check out at the Hotel according to the Hotel check out time and proceed to Kigali international Airport for your Return flights back home. (Before returning home you may go for shopping in Kigali town
